Working every day all day long

14 april 2017 - St Kilda, Australië

So my mom misses me a lot and want me to write some more stories. But the thing is, that I don't have any exiting stories to tell you. The only big happening was that my boy friend arrived here! Which makes me really happy. He is here now for one week, working for accommodation and trying to find a payed job. He is now the handyman of the hostel and already worked a few hours for a guy who needed a hand and payed him for it. Its nice to have someone you can count on and make dinner together etc.

I have to say I met lovely people the last few weeks. A Belgium guy (michiel, but everyone here calls him Michael), 2 girls from Sweden (Linda & Lisa), a girl from Germany (Luzita) and a guy from Australia (Skip). I just want to mention them because there are awesome. We cook dinner together and went to places together. It took me a while to find people to mix up with here in the hostel and now these people are lovely and staying here for a while instead of other nice people I met but they always leave after a few days. This week I also met a sweet Dutch girl, I booked here whole east coast / whole travel plan in Australia.

Since this week I am the 'pancake girl' every morning I bake free pancakes from 8-10 for people who are staying in the hostel. Which means I'm working 10 hours a day. But you know what! The more hours I make, the earlier I'm finished!

And while I am typing this there are popping up more and more stories I do have to tell you. So another awesome thing is that last week I went to a meeting for tour operators and travel agents. The theme was 'the outback' of Australia. All travel agents from Melbourne were invited and I went there with Jason and Aaron. We had delicious free food, free drinks and of course a lot of information about the outback. On that evening they had a special going on. Every agent had to fill in a paper with there personal details and answer some questions. At the end of the evening you had to throw all the papers together and then the organization would pull out 4 of the papers. And guess what.... She called my name! which means I won a full pede trip to the outback. Flights, acco, food and the tour/travelling around there. I will probably go from the 25th to the 29th of May.

Last weekend I went to a tattoo convention in Melbourne together with Micheal, Linda and Jamie. We had a fun day, seen so many artists, ate some good food anddd I got a tattoo. Last year I walked at a tattoo convention in Amsterdam with my parents and boyfriend and there was one design that I was really attracted to. I always stayed in my mind, and then we walked at the tattoo convention in Melbourne and I saw kind of the same design.. I felled in love with it again and I really wanted to have the tattoo so I did it. Really pain full but really happy with it.

But yeah further more I am working almost every day.... Tomorrow after work ( my shift from 7 till 3 ) Jamie and I are going to Debby to celebrate Daniele's birthday and easterweekend. Yeeah.
