Busy week!

I don't know where to begin... and I will probably forget some things I want to share with you. But I had a busy and really nice week! At the moment it is Sunday evening 22:45 and I am sitting on my bed thinking of last week. I first start with work.. My manager came by 1.5 week ago to finally tell me what the plan will be for me at the travel desk. The plan is that I will be that I will be the only 'travel agent' at the desk. Working Monday to Friday 10 till 6.  Which is nice.. but it also have a less nice side. I kind of feel alone and I don't have the help and guidance that I thought I would have as an 'intern'. They are really using me as a fulltime employee.. they set up targets and an amount of money I have to make. Which gives me a lot of pressure...

Then some greatttt news.. Jamie is coming to Australia!!! yeaay, he will arrive at the 6th of April and we're going to have the best time everrrrr

​Thursday was a really nice morning! Debby Esther and her 2 little daughters came to my hostel! Esther walked in and I saw her coming (I recognised her) she came to me and said 'Hi I am looking for Ginny' and I was like heee that's me! haha. We went for a coffee and it was really nice to meet them. The twins where so cute. And now I defenetly want to go Port Augusta to visit them. ​

Oh and on Tuesday I went to Xbase thats another hostel here in St Kilda where they have a MADtraveldesk as well. The owner of Bunyip (tourcompany) was there to hand out brochures and he was talking about 'sovereign hill' the gold tour in Ballarat. He needed more people to go on his tour this Friday otherwise they had to cancel it. So I just smiled at him and said that I would love to join the tour! and that's what I did. I also sold the tour to 2 people off my hostel. So on Friday morning 7:30 we took the tram into the city to go to the pick up point for the tour. It was a nice day visiting a small town where everyone was dressed up like in the old days, they showed how they make 'lolly's',  how they melt gold and we went into a mine where they found gold many years a go. After visiting the small town we went to a beautiful lake. Had the best coffee ever there and then we drove to a beautiful waterfall! After the tour I went to Mila and we made delicious burgers! Good day with great people.

On Saturday Greg, Jason and I moved my travel desk into another room. We've been busy with it all day... It was much work but it does look nice now. I missed my dad to help me with get the screws out my desk, put it back together, drill holes in the wall, lifting etc... haha

​And now it is time to write about today. I went to Wilson's prom together with another travel agent and the rest of the tour group! It was a really really nice day! I walked to xbase at 6:20 in the morning.. then we drove for 2 hours to a lovely cafe near the beach for a short stop. After drinking a nice cappuccino we drove further to the National Park. Beautiful drive. Then we arrived at the mountain.... and hiked up to the top. It took us 2 hours to get up to the top where we had a gorgeous view of the park and the sea. It was a heavy hike but it was pretty cool to do! We walked back and visited a lake where we saw a huge  white with grey bird in the tree. After the lake we went to the nicest beach I've seen so far. White sand, blue sea.. At 16:30 we had to go make our way back. On our way back I spotted a walibi!! Happy me.. because I have not seen one before. Back at the hostel around 21:00 .. ate some bread, called with mom and dad, wrote my story.. and now its time to sleep! Working tomorrow...
