Finished my internship ! - Grampians

Woehoee after 3,5 months I finished my internship. Worked like 50/60 hours a week to make my hours a little bit faster. Unfortuanatly I became really sick 2 weeks so I had to work one more week. But now I'm done!

Jamie left last Friday together with Michiel to an avocado farm in Brisbane (19 hours away from me). And I'm still in Melbourne, so came up with a plan to go to the Grampians national park with Mila! So we hired a car for two days and made a reservation for YHA hostel in Gaps Hall for one night. We left Sunday morning around 9AM to pick up the car and started our road trip! Driving on the left side of the road in an automatic car instead of manual. Kind of weird but most of the time I was the only one on the road, driving in the middle of no where hitting the 140/150 km an hour haha, that was fun. It was the plan that Mila would drive as well but she was a bit scared and I was oke with driving. Being carefull for all the wildlife here in Australia.

Around 3PM we arrived in the hostel. There was no one.... Except for a big black box.... And ofcourse Mila was so curious to fully open it..... Surprise a massive snake was in there!! Like really massive. So she made a jump of 10 meters high and almost started crying haha. After we dropped of our staff we made our way to the information centre. And she told us we could go to the MCkenzie falls and after that to two look out points. So that's what we did. The MC Kenzie falls where beautiful but we where sooooo out of breath, terrible. Then we drove to the look out point and during our walk to go there we saw a walibi just jumping in front of us! so cool. And the look out was sooo nice. Made some cool pictures. And then we went back to the hostel, bought some food on the way to cook in the hostel. At night Mila watched the important football game off Feyenoord, and I woke up next to her cyring because Feyenoord won.

Next day was the planning to do a 2,5 walk. But we didn't went up so far. We had a beautiful walk through the grand canyon and walked back. Drove through the grampians, saw more wild life > kangeroes, emu's. Went to the lake and started to drive back. Drove to the coastal town called Geelong, got a spontanious hair cut, after that to Torquay and then it became really dark during our way back to Melbourne. We couldn't see anything and thought our lights where broken... called the Australian ANWB and waited till they came by... At the end we just missed a button... oooops.

Now I am back at the hostel, missing Jamie. But having fun with the girls. During the day I did school work, I'm really stressed out because I think my teacher is playing hard to get now... and just let me fail. But I'm tryyying. In the evening I made dinner with Lisa and now I'm sitting in bed, supposed to d more school work, but now I'm typing this because mam wants me to! :) Tomorrow will be a busy planning, going to the Melbourne market and then in to the city with the girls. And in the evening I decided to cook a large meal for all my beloved ones here and have a nice last dinner together.
